On August 25, 2023, BYD's first shooting brake SUV, Song L, made its debut at the Chengdu International Auto Show. 

At the press conference, EC dynamic canopy, one of the Smart Cockpit Platform, became its highlight configuration. This is BYD's second model equipped with Ambilight EC dynamic canopy, following the Seal. The addition of Ambilight EC smart dynamic technology has made Song L more intelligent.

BYD Song L combines BYD's advanced e-platform 3.0, CTB, and Cloud Chariot-C star technologies, making it a heavyweight model for BYD in the second half of this year. 

Song L is inheriting the design style of the BYD Dynasty website's "Dragon Beauty Aesthetics", with its sharp lines, bold personality, and poised posture, it creates shooting brake SUV that combines sports and power. The overall design is very full and has a strong sense of youthfulness and sportiness.

Song L is equipped with three configurations for the first time: "narrow front and wide rear tires, frameless doors, and electric tail wings". The DiLink intelligent networking system, DiPilot intelligent driving assistance system, and Pioneer smart cockpit make Song L a smart partner who understands users better.
